Tether Weighs Splitting From Big Crypto PAC for Political Giving

Stablecoin giant Tether is looking at spending money on US elections as it prepares to open a US entity and is considering options other than the political action committee that has won the support of big US crypto companies.

The chief executive officer of Tether, Paolo Ardoino, said in an interview with Bloomberg, that “everyone is upset with Fairshake,” the crypto PAC that rose to prominence during the 2024 election by spending $133 million on pro-crypto candidates.
