3M Beats Ex-Worker’s Religious Bias Claims Over Covid-19 Vaccine

3M Co. prevailed in a lawsuit brought by a former employee who claimed she was discriminated against when her two requests for religious exemptions from the company’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate were denied.

3M provided “ample, undisputed evidence” that granting Hannah Cleckner an exemption would cause the company undue hardship, given that many health-care facilities where the patient support specialist worked were declining to permit unvaccinated vendors access, Judge Jennifer P. Wilson of the US District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania wrote in a Tuesday order.
