AI Innovation, Guardrails Outlined in Bipartisan House Roadmap
House lawmakers released their long-awaited and sweeping report on AI on Tuesday, recommending how the federal government should adopt the technology and what guardrails to set to protect Americans amid the global AI boom.
The bipartisan framework details more than 150 findings and recommendations for Congress to respond to the burgeoning industry. The blueprint lays out seven key principles to guide legislative efforts and examines AI’s implications for more than a dozen policy areas. The report is the result of 10 months of work by the 24-member bipartisan task force.
