A federal appeals court affirmed Alabama State University’s victory over a former athletic department official’s pay discrimination lawsuit, finding no evidence that her male colleagues earned more.
Sha’Ola Terrell, who served as senior associate director of internal operations, didn’t identify proper male comparators to sustain her claims under the federal Equal Pay Act and state law, the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit ruled.
