CarGroup Holdings LLC, which does business as www.WeBuyAnyCar.com, will pay $8.5 million to end a class action alleging it failed to pay employees overtime wages.
Judge Michael M. Baylson preliminarily approved the settlement agreement in an order filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
The class is comprised of nearly 800 employees that include all territorial and mobile sales representatives, branch managers, and assistant area managers for CarGroup between April 2021 through December 2024.
