A District of Columbia federal district court denied summary judgment to Amtrak on the claims of a crew management representative with chronic inflammatory response syndrome that she was refused an accommodation for her disability, in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, ruling that there was sufficient evidence to suggest that remote work was a reasonable accommodation for the representative’s accommodation, and that Amtrak didn’t adequately engage in the interactive process.
