A Maryland federal court didn’t err in granting Sheppard Pratt Health System, Inc. summary judgment on the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act religious discrimination claim of an admissions coordinator who refused Covid-19 vaccination, because an exemption for her and other employees requesting one would’ve risked the safety of medically compromised patients and could’ve possibly caused an outbreak triggering a lockdown, which constitutes an undue burden for the hospital, the Fourth Circuit held.
