An Illinois federal district court granted summary judgment to Cook County on the claims of a Christian terminated pharmacist that she was denied a reasonable accommodation for her religious beliefs regarding the county’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ruling that the county presented sufficient evidence that there was no reasonable accommodation it could offer the pharmacist that wouldn’t create an undue hardship, based on her essential job duties.
