An Illinois federal court declined to dismiss a 69-year-old financial advisor’s declaratory judgment claim on restrictive covenants in his employment agreement, arising from his allegation of continuing violations of age discrimination and a campaign to force him into retirement, finding that a controversy existed and he had standing, and also refused to dismiss claims against Hightower Holding LLC’s president for interference, and aiding and abetting Massachusetts state law age discrimination.
