Colonial Life Insurance Employee Revives Firing Retaliation Suit

A former employee of Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Co. revived his lawsuit against the company over his retaliatory firing based on his reports of sexual misconduct at the firm.

The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in a divided decision Friday found that employee Thomas Koch has provided sufficient evidence to make a retaliation case under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
