Companies that give their hiring managers race and sex data about internal employment decisions could draw scrutiny from the EEOC, according to the Republican chair of the agency.
Giving demographic information related to workplace retention or promotions to someone who can make an employment decision is a “high risk practice,” Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Chair Andrea Lucas said Thursday during a webinar hosted by The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
