The EEOC’s plan to rescind decades-old requirements for large employers to report on the race and gender of their workforce has cleared the White House’s regulatory review process.
The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs concluded its review June 9, signaling the proposal to revoke EEO-1 forms and other demographic data collections for employers will soon be published in the Federal Register.
OIRA received notice from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission the rescission plan had been submitted on May 14.
