An enforcement supervisor at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission failed to show her lowered performance rating and scrutiny from her managers resulted from illegal retaliation, a federal judge in Miami found.
The actions that Marisa A. Cosculluela cited as motivating the alleged retaliation don’t qualify as protected activities under Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, wrote Judge K. Michael Moore for the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
