Nelnet Employees Get Pay for Time Used Booting Up Work Computer

Nelnet Diversified Solutions LLC call center employees are entitled to be paid for time they spend each day booting up their work computer and launching its software, the Tenth Circuit said.

The process is indispensable to the employees’ student loan servicing duties and the amount of time involved isn’t de minimis, the Oct. 8 opinion by Judge Nancy L. Moritz said.
