Melissa Robertson was promoted to senior vice president and general counsel for the Seattle Mariners, the organization announced Tuesday.
Robertson leads all aspects of the club’s legal affairs, serving as a legal resource to all club departments including baseball operations, ballpark operations, corporate partnerships, marketing, people and culture, and sales. She also manages the club’s litigation matters, oversees government relations at the federal, state, and local level, and acts as counsel to the Seattle Mariners Foundation.
Before joining the Mariners in 2008, she was an attorney at Perkins Coie.
