The Trump administration is challenging a federal court’s decision to let Special Counsel Hampton Dellinger temporarily stay on during a dispute over whether his termination was lawful.
The US District Court for the District of Columbia let Dellinger keep his position through Feb. 13. The Justice Department is appealing that order to the US Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, according a Monday legal filing.
