The federal government’s HR office is instructing agency employees to report “any efforts to disguise” diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility programs.
Agency heads should tell employees that failing to report this information could result in “adverse consequences,” according to a memo from Acting Office of Personnel Management Director Charles Ezell dated Jan. 21.
The memo includes a sample message for agency heads to send to their employees, seeking information on contract or job descriptions changed after Election Day “to obscure the connection” with DEIA.
