Federal worker unions are challenging the Trump administration over a policy that restricts mediation and arbitration rights for agency employees the White House has deemed ineligible for collective bargaining rights.
The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service violated federal administrative law when its general counsel issued a memo limiting access to arbitration for certain federal workers, a coalition of unions said in a complaint filed Friday in US District Court for the District of Columbia.
