Coinbase’s products, including its wallet and base apps and Scalable Blockchain Address Risk Scoring System, allegedly infringe seven patents, according to VM Innovations I LLC’s complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Coinbase is familiar with one of the asserted patents, US Patent No. 11,861,609. The protected method was cited in the patent application process for a Coinbase patent, according to the complaint.
