Senate Democrats want their Republican colleagues to go on the record with their opposition to a tax package of business and child tax breaks.
The $78 billion tax package, passed by the House in January but long stalled in the Senate, at one time had a trickle of Senate Republican support. Many in the GOP now, though, say they’re set to vote against the measure in a procedural vote that’s expected later this week.
