Snoop Dogg Leads Latest Round of California Film Tax Credits

The California Film Commission announced new tax credits for 28 upcoming films, with the largest credit awarded to a biopic produced by and about the rapper Snoop Dogg.

In addition to NBCUniversal Inc.'s untitled Snoop Dogg project, which will be set in Long Beach, the credit recipients announced Wednesday also include a new film from Academy Award-winning director Ang Lee, an untitled project produced by actor Glen Powell, and an independent film directed by actress Gina Rodriguez.
