Denmark’s New Government Plans to Cut Corporate, Income Taxes

Denmark’s new center-left government said it will cut the corporate tax rate to shore up the Nordic country’s ability to compete in a tougher global environment marked by trade wars and soaring energy costs.

The four-party coalition led by Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen will cut the corporate tax rate by three percentage points over three years, according to its new policy program. It will also eliminate two income-tax tiers that currently apply to higher earners.
