Companies need to exercise caution around the hot button topics of DEI and political speech in the workplace, EEOC Commissioner Andrea Lucas said at a conference Wednesday.
Lucas spoke at a Jackson Lewis P.C. event in Bethesda, Md., on priorities for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The five-member commission is comprised of three Democrats and two Republicans, including Lucas, who has voiced her objection to recent rules and guidance from the EEOC that she has said oversteps agency authority.
