Former Tax Officials Raise Ethics Alarm on Trump’s IRS Lawsuit

Former government tax officials are asking a judge to take proactive moves to curb the ethical issues arising out of President Donald Trump’s lawsuit against the IRS.

Trump filed a $10 billion lawsuit in a Miami federal court over the unauthorized disclosure of his tax returns to the press during his first term in office. Former IRS contractor Charles Littlejohn, who stole thousands of tax records for other wealthy Americans, is in prison.
