Korb Moves Closer to IRS Reprise
President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, Donald Korb, will go before the Senate Finance Committee next week.
If confirmed, the tax world veteran who has had several IRS stints would be the fifth person in the post this year.
Now at Sullivan & Cromwell, Korb is likely to move forward in the Republican-led Senate, potentially bringing some stability to the embattled agency.
