House lawmakers voted Wednesday to advance legislation to provide tax treaty-like benefits to companies doing business between Taiwan and the US, advancing it for Senate consideration.
The 423-1 vote showed rare bipartisanship in the new Congress where the GOP majority has plans to move major legislation without the need for Democratic votes.
