Senators Float Tax Administration Overhaul
The top Senate tax writers released new legislation Thursday to address a wide range of tax administration and procedure issues at the IRS.
The bipartisan legislation includes a sweeping set of changes to tax collection procedures, administration, and due process, according to Finance Committee Chair Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) and ranking member Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), Chris Cioffi and Zach Cohen report.
