A hunting group’s push to overturn the federal government’s ban on puppies younger than six months entering the US will end up in front of the Sixth Circuit this week.

A three-judge panel in Cincinnati will hear arguments Thursday from the Sportsmen’s Alliance, a hunter, and a Canadian beagle breeder that the court should block the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s 2024 rule while an underlying challenge is pending.
