A federal court on Sunday denied a company’s bid to excuse it from helping clean up one of the nation’s most high-profile polluted waterways.
The decision adds to the growing body of case law involving Superfund cleanup in which courts are asked to peer into the past and decide who did what, when—often with spotty or no documentation.
