Equinor ASA is looking to expand its US shale-gas business amid an ongoing reshuffling of its global portfolio, the company’s international upstream boss said Monday.
“We’re looking around the Marcellus primarily,” Vice President for International Exploration and Production Philippe Mathieu said during an interview at CERAWeek by S&P Global in Houston. “It would need to kind of give us the possibility of developing from the base that we have and creating more longevity in the portfolio.”
