EU Energy Tax Overhaul to Face More Discussions

EU envoys on Monday didn’t finalize an agreement on a controversial bill that would revise the way the bloc taxes fuel and electricity.

Disagreements over parts of the bill, known as the Energy Taxation Directive, haven’t been resolved, and further discussions are required “at a political level,” according to people familiar with the negotiations.
