‘Forever Chemicals’ Targeted in New Cosmetics, Foam Lawsuits

The lawsuits and range of companies involved in litigation over “forever chemicals” show no sign of waning, as Colorado has filed suit against chemical and firefighting foam manufacturers while L’Oréal USA Inc. finds itself targeted in a proposed class action.

Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser (D) on Monday sued 15 companies that have made aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) containing polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) or chemicals used in such foams.
