Iowa landowners on Tuesday asked a state court to revisit a ruling allowing the state utilities commission to hear additional evidence related to a carbon dioxide pipeline company’s request to amend its permit application.
The landowners’ motion comes days after Judge Scott Beattie of the Fifth Judicial District of Iowa ruled Summit Carbon Solutions met multiple remand requirements under state law, which allows additional evidence to be presented in a case if “there were good reasons” for not raising it before and if it’s considered material.
