A group of renewable energy companies sued the Defense Department for shutting down its impact assessment of wind projects on military readiness.
“The direct impact of DoD’s inaction has been a total halt of all wind project development in the United States,” said a group of plaintiffs including the Advanced Power Alliance and the Southern Renewable Energy Association in their complaint filed May 31 with the US District Court for the District of Oregon.
