The global sustainability standard-setter said Friday that two of its board members were leaving as it downsizes to save money.
Canada’s Michael Jantzi and South Korea’s Tae-Young Paik will leave the International Sustainability Standards Board when their terms end Sept. 30, with Paik becoming a senior adviser to ISSB Chair Emmanuel Faber for one year.
“The inaugural ISSB has delivered beyond what we promised, thanks to the incredible work and dedication of the inaugural board,” Faber said in a statement. “I want to express my gratitude to my colleagues Michael and Tae-Young, as they are stepping down.”
