Anthropic Names Former Microsoft, GM Executive Liddell to Board

Anthropic PBC has named Chris Liddell to its board of directors, expanding its leadership with a seasoned finance executive who played a key role in taking General Motors Co. public.

Liddell previously was chief financial officer of several companies, including GM and Microsoft Corp. He also served as a top official in the first Trump administration.

“Chris has spent his career at the intersection of technology, public service, and governance — and has a track record of helping organizations get those things right when the stakes are highest,” said Daniela Amodei, co-founder and president of Anthropic.
