A Missouri federal district court granted summary judgment to MHM Health Professionals, LLC on Arizona Wage Act and unjust enrichment claims brought by a medical care provider who alleged she was owed wages for time spent undergoing security screenings at Arizona prisons, ruling that the employee had no reasonable expectation of being paid for security screenings as required under the AWA’s definition of “wages,” since there was no contract, implied agreement, or company policy establishing such compensation, and the plaintiff admitted knowing MHM did not pay for routine security screenings.
