Delta, Ticket Counter Worker End Disability Discrimination Suit

Delta Air Lines Inc. and a former customer service agent resolved a lawsuit alleging the company failed to accommodate the worker’s chronic pain by refusing to provide him a stool.

The parties sought to dismiss the case with prejudice Monday—nearly two months after they notified the US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee of their settlement in July. Brian Booker sued Delta in November 2023, claiming he experienced pain from prolonged standing and the airline retaliated against him when he tried to receive accommodations under the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Rehabilitation Act. ...
