President Donald Trump‘s cancellation of a grant program that sought to provide internet to underserved communities is unlawful, a lawsuit filed in a federal court in Washington says.

Trump terminated the Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program after calling it “a RACIST and ILLEGAL $2.5 BILLION DOLLAR GIVEAWAY” in a post in his social media platform Truth Social earlier this year.
