Amentum Moves to Protect Diego Garcia Contract From KBR Protest

Amentum Mitie Pacific LLC is seeking to join a federal court protest of its US Navy contract for base operating support services at Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia, located in the British-controlled Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean.

Amentum filed Thursday a motion to intervene with the US Court of Federal Claims, which said neither the government nor counsel for protester KBR Diego Garcia LLC opposed the motion. The protest filed Feb. 3 is under seal.
