DOD Agency Correctly Addressed Disparity Before Software Award

The US Defense Logistics Agency reasonably corrected its “misinterpretation” of a bid to provide a software update task order when it selected Oakland Consulting Group Inc.'s $130 million offer, the US Court of Federal Claims said.

The agency initially deemed Oakland Consulting’s bid deficient and chose protester Advantaged Solutions Inc. But the agency reasonably rescinded that decision after discovering the two companies improperly received different technical ratings, Judge Eleni M. Roumel said in an opinion made public Feb. 6.
