Guam, Japan Lead Growth in Indo-Pacific Construction Contracts

House lawmakers are scheduled to vote this week on the Military Construction-VA appropriations bill for fiscal 2025, which would include $1.1 billion for military construction in the Indo-Pacific region, Maika Ito reports.

In fiscal 2023, 9% of all military construction spending had a place of performance in the Indo-Pacific, hitting an all-time high of $3.7 billion in unclassified contract obligations in the region.
