Insect Shield Settles Fraud Suit Involving Army Uniforms (1)

Insect Shield LLC settled a suit alleging the company violated the False Claims Act by billing the US Department of Defense for Army uniforms that lacked adequate insect repellent.

Insect Shield, whistleblower Emelia Downs, and the US Department of Justice filed a stipulation of dismissal with prejudice Thursday with the US District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. The case is now closed, the docket says.
