The US Department of Veterans Affairs reasonably excluded a Puerto Rico-based firm from a janitorial services procurement worth up to $50 million because it didn’t submit a required certification, the Government Accountability Office said.
OS-DB-JV-2 LLC conceded that it failed to submit the certification, which was a material solicitation requirement, due to a clerical error, the GAO said in a decision released Monday.
The GAO also also said it couldn’t locate four decisions the protester cited, and that the protester apologized for errors that “bear the hallmarks of the use of a large-language model or other artificial intelligence.”
