K.O.O. Construction, US Settle Training Combat Facility Dispute

K.O.O. Construction Inc. and the US government reached a settlement in a suit seeking about $8 million under a $17 million contract to build a close quarters training combat facility the US Navy terminated for convenience of the government.

The parties filed Tuesday a joint stipulation of dismissal with the US Court of Federal Claims. Terms of the settlement weren’t made available. Counsel for K.O.O. declined to comment. The US Justice Department didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
