KBR’s Logistics Contract Allows for West Point Dining Services

Kellogg Brown & Root Services LLC can provide cook support and dining facilities services at West Point military academy even though a protester argued the services fall outside the scope of KBR’s US Army logistics contract, the GAO said in a decision released Friday.

Rice Services Inc. failed to show that KBR’s contract under Logistics Civil Augmentation Program Contract V precludes the company from providing the services to meet an “urgent and compelling” need, under an undefinitized contractual action, the US Government Accountability Office said.
