A cohort of companies representing 0.1% of contractors working with civilian agencies increased its share of the federal market in fiscal 2024 by two percentage points over its majority the year before, according to Bloomberg Government data.
The 83 companies with at least $500 million in prime contracting revenue collectively accounted for $148.9 billion, or 54%, of civilian procurement dollars. In fiscal 2023, 86 companies in that group of largest vendors secured a 52% share of the market.
