MilTrain to Proceed With $85 Million Drone Training Contract

MilTrain JV II LLC can perform an $85 million Air Force contract to provide training services for the MQ-9 remotely piloted aircraft, the GAO said in a decision released Tuesday.

Protester SOFIS-TRG LLC failed to show that the Air Force’s past performance evaluation unreasonably equalized the bidders’ confidence assessment ratings, the Government Accountability Office said.

The Air Force adhered to solicitation requirements, and reasonably assigned the awardee’s bid a “substantial confidence” rating, the GAO said.
