SAIC Says DHS Flawed Contract Review Cost It $983 Million Award

Science Applications International Corp.'s challenge to the $983 million IT award to rival CACI NSS LLC contends the US Department of Homeland Security didn’t properly weigh price and non-price evaluation factors, among other errors.

The US Court of Federal Claims should set aside CACI’s award, enjoin performance of the blanket purchase agreement, and order the department to re-evaluate offers or select SAIC, according to the information technology company’s redacted complaint, made public Thursday.

SAIC sued under seal Oct. 15. Judge Robin M. Merriweather later granted CACI ‘s motion to intervene.
