Beyond Meat Inc. has dismissed its controller following the plant-based protein company’s disclosure last month that it was taking steps to address “material weakness” in its internal financial reporting safeguards.
Yi (Jevy) Luo, vice president, corporate controller, and principal accounting officer, is leaving the company, according to a filing Thursday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Beyond Meat’s chief financial officer Lubi Kutua is assuming the duties of principal accounting officer as the company searches for Luo’s replacement.
